I had always been good with money—or so I thought. For years, I saved, invested, and managed my shop carefully. But about two months ago, something strange started happening.
No matter what I did, I could not keep money for more than a week. Every week, cash would vanish, debts would appear, or unexpected expenses would swallow my profits.
At first, I blamed myself. Maybe I was careless, or maybe I was overspending. I made budgets, kept ledgers, and even hid money in different places in the shop and at home in Obunga Estate, but the same thing happened.
I would hide cash on Monday, and by Sunday, it would be gone. Sometimes, I thought I might have been forgetful or miscalculating.
