Kalonzo Rallies Gen Z and Calls Out Ruto in Fiery Kitengela Speech

Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka took his campaign message to Kitengela, where he urged young Kenyans to register as voters while accusing President William Ruto’s administration of burdening families with high taxes and failing to tackle corruption.

Addressing a large gathering on Sunday, Kalonzo expressed gratitude to residents for what he described as an overwhelming show of support.

He emphasized the central role of youth in shaping Kenya’s future, appealing directly to Gen Z to take charge of their political destiny.

“To our Gen Z, I urge you to come out in masses and register as voters. You are the future of this nation, and your voice matters more than ever,” he said.

In an unusual turn, the Wiper boss also directed part of his message to members of the police service, cautioning them against obeying unlawful instructions.

“To our police officers, I say with respect, do not take bad orders. Stand firm, because we will always stand with you and fight for your dignity,” Kalonzo told the cheering crowd.

He criticized the Kenya Kwanza government for what he termed as punitive taxation policies, accusing Ruto’s leadership of squeezing ordinary workers while failing to curb graft.

“We must free our payslips from punitive taxes that are crushing families. We must end corruption so that Kenya becomes a fair country where everyone has a chance,” he added.

Kalonzo ended his speech with a direct jab at the head of state, declaring that “for Kenya to move forward, William Ruto must be #WANTAM.”
