Nairobi County Women Representative Esther Passaris spent Sunday at St. Peter’s Enocha Legio Maria Mission in Dandora, joining ODM National Chairperson Gladys Wanga and other leaders in a show of solidarity and community support.

Passaris described the visit as “bittersweet,” recalling her previous worship at the same church alongside former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, a memory she said remains deeply meaningful.

During the visit, Passaris contributed KSh 100,000 to aid the ongoing construction of the church, highlighting her commitment to strengthening faith institutions.

“I believe churches play a vital role in nurturing values, unity, and hope within our society,” she said.

The legislator also shared reflections on leadership, citing Romans 13:1: “For there is no authority except that which God has established.”

Passaris emphasized that her role as a leader is a calling under God’s authority, pledging to continue serving with humility and compassion toward the people of Nairobi.

The visit drew community members and local leaders, reinforcing the partnership between public figures and faith institutions in promoting social cohesion.

Passaris’ engagement underscores her ongoing involvement in both civic and spiritual initiatives, as she seeks to balance political responsibilities with community service.

Passaris’ contribution adds to ongoing efforts by public officials to support the growth of religious and community infrastructure across Nairobi.
